Staffing agencies help people be successful and find work. They give you the opportunity to showcase your skills to some of the top companies in the area. There’s also a great opportunity for growth within a staffing agency. Though you are likely to start off as a temporary employee, there’s the possibility of becoming a long-term one.
Our Service Coordinators at Forge Industrial Staffing don’t really know you, or your capabilities. They’re going to start off by having you apply, so that they can get some more information about you. Forge Industrial Staffing requires that applicants be at least 18-years-old and be able to provide form(s) of employee verification in order to apply. We will also ask the three following questions in order to get a better understanding of which positions are going to fit you best.
Questions they may ask:
- What’s your availability like? Since there are so many job opportunities at different times of the day, a Service Coordinator is going to want to find a position that fits your schedule. They understand that you may have a family to take care of outside of work and want to do the best they can giving you the best work opportunities available. Many staffing agencies offer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift opportunities, giving everyone the opportunity to work if they wanted too.
- Do you have reliable transportation? Not every job opportunity is located on the bus line, so it’s important for a Service Coordinator to know if you have a reliable form of transportation or not. If you don’t have a reliable form of transportation, they’re not going to be able to offer you a job that isn’t located on the bus line. They’ll be able to find you jobs that better fit your needs if they know of your transportation situation.
- When can you start? This question plays into your availability. New jobs are always becoming available, meaning you have a higher chance of starting sooner than later. You’re going to want to make sure that you know you’re time commitment to a job before you start it. If you know you’re going to be busy tomorrow for a certain time period, you will not want to agree to start a job then. Our Service Coordinators are going to want to know the earliest you can start and what shift is going to work best for you, so they can fit the job availability to your schedule.
