Forge Industrial Staffing Announces Major Sponsorship for Ottawa County Deputy Sheriff’s Association Charity Basketball Event
Grand Rapids, MI – March 14, 2024 – Forge Industrial Staffing, a leader in providing industrial staffing solutions, is proud to announce its significant partnership with the Ottawa County Deputy Sheriff’s Association (OCDSA), sponsoring their 8th annual charity basketball game. This year’s event, a much-anticipated exhibition game, will feature the Ottawa County All-Stars going head-to-head with members of the NFL’s Detroit Lions. The game is scheduled to take place at the Allendale High School Gymnasium on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.
In alignment with Forge’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility, this sponsorship reflects the company’s dedication to supporting local initiatives that promote safety and well-being. The OCDSA’s annual event is more than just a game; it is a community-wide effort aimed at raising awareness and funds for drug prevention programs in Ottawa County schools. All proceeds from the event will be utilized to further the association’s mission in combating drug abuse and promoting safety within local educational institutions.
“Forge Industrial Staffing is honored to support the Ottawa County Deputy Sheriff’s Association in their continuous efforts to ensure a safer future for our youth,” said William Santiago, Regional Director of Operations and spokesperson for Forge. “We believe in the power of community and the importance of coming together to support initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of our young people.”
In addition to the monetary contribution, Forge will be present at the game, distributing complimentary swag and helping to amplify the OCDSA’s message of drug prevention. Attendees will also receive the Drug Safety Handbook, free of charge, as part of the educational outreach during the event.
Forge Industrial Staffing encourages everyone in the community to join in supporting this noble cause by purchasing tickets to the game or contributing through other means. This local project depends on the generosity and involvement of businesses and individuals alike to continue its impactful work.
“We are immensely grateful for the support from Forge Industrial Staffing and other community members,” stated Denny Myers, a representative from the Ottawa County Deputy Sheriff’s Association. “It is through such partnerships that we can continue to make a positive impact and keep our schools and neighborhoods safe.”
Tickets for the event are available now, and all community members are invited to come out, enjoy an exciting game of basketball, and support a vital cause.
